The Fort Myers Shores Fire Department would like to introduce Deputy Chief of Operations, Jake Lamb, who joined the department this year. Deputy Chief Lamb is an accomplished fire officer and paramedic. His primary responsibility is the operations division of the department.

He brings knowledge and experience from 20 years of service in the Lee County fire-rescue service. If you have any questions, he can be contacted at Lamb@fmsfd.org. Please join us in welcoming the Deputy Chief!

The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District is located in East Lee County. We protect 16 square miles out of one station. We are currently in the planning stages for our second station, which will be located at the entrance to the River Hall community.

The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District provides Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Rescue, and Basic Life Support to the members of our community. The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District borders the Caloosahatchee River, so all of our line personnel are also PADI Water Rescue Certified for diving and Swift Water Rescue.
