The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District is located in East Lee County. We protect 16 square miles out of one station. We are currently in the planning stages for our second station, which will be located at the entrance to the River Hall community.
The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District provides Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Rescue, and Basic Life Support to the members of our community. The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District borders the Caloosahatchee River, so all of our line personnel are also PADI Water Rescue Certified for diving and Swift Water Rescue.
