The Fort Myers Shores Fire Protection and Rescue Service District is located in East Lee County, FL. We protect sixteen square miles out of two fire stations providing service to the residents and visitors of East Fort Myers and Alva.
We are an “All-Hazards” professional department providing Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Technical and Special Operations Rescue to the members of our community twenty-four hours a day. With a large portion of our district boundary bordering the Caloosahatchee River, several of our operations members are Public Safety skin diver certified for surface and swift water rescue.
